Sorry guys I have been working a lot with Twitter lately and examining the way it works and why I am using it. The reason I got in involved with Twitter was to help show and share different products and services that I have found help me in my business. The problem I have been having with Twitter is that I am noticing that there are a lot of people who just want to be followed… Period. They don’t care what you have to offer, they just want you to follow them back. I am trying to weine through the followers who are only in it for a return follow from me.

I apologize to everyone for making this choice but please remember that I am doing this to help you find the content I tweet about and try to have a better social connection with the Genuine followers (like you I hope ).

This eBook is for FREE? Whats the catch?

Once and a while you come across a product or service that is free and you just can’t figure out why this valuable information is FREE. Well I have stumbled across an ebook today that just blow me away with the amount of information that was contained in it. It was written by a lady named Lisa Irby and a lot of what she has to say in the ebook and on her website is pretty great stuff.

I have spent the good part of today going over all of her information and I was inspired to write this quick blog about what I had found. Basically if you take a look at this ebook and visit her website from above, you will get A LOT of information you thought you knew about, but really had no idea.

Finding a Perfect Domain Name For Business

Without saying, the domain name of your business is just as important as the business itself. Domain names are fairly cheap (around $8 – $10) and should contain keywords of what your website is all about. You need to remember that customers who are looking for your product or service will most likely use a search engine to find you. These days search engines use a bunch of different information to return search results. Some of the things they look for are; your websites Title, Description of your website, Keywords and key word phrases used throughout your web page(s), and even the domain name. Of course search engines also look into your websites back links and forward links to make sure your website is relevant and full of relevant information that the searcher is looking for.

When you are doing a search on popular domain registers such as Godaddy, you might want to start off by first making a list of 10 possible domain names that help describe your type of business or service. An example would be for one of my websites I just created, the website was designed to showcase some popular tools and products that I have actually used personally and would like to recommend. These products and services I talk about are to help online businesses find the help they need to help catapult their sales. The domain name I choose for this was StepByStepBusinesses.com. As you can clearly see, this domain name does a great job in explaining right off the bat what it is you would find when you visited my site.

Another thing you want to keep in mind is that you don’t a domain name that is hard to remember or even hard on the eyes when trying to read what the name says. Try to keep it simple and as short as you possibly can. Short domain names are getting tougher and tougher every day to find, so please just be patient and try all sorts of different combinations. Sometimes I can sit for an hour and not come up with a good domain name, and other times I can sit down and within seconds have the domain name found that I am looking for.

Try going over to Godaddy right now and play around with the search menu they have. As soon as you type in a domain name your interested in buying, you are told within seconds if that domain name is taken, or if that domain name is available for you to buy. Godaddy also makes it extremely easy to register the domain name you want to buy and the customer support is amazing. They are the only domain registers I use for all of my websites I own.
